Cape Sidecar Adventures. Where to start… what a fantastic place and what an awesome day out!
I’ve always loved my food, just haven’t really attended the real “foodie” type events such as these. Without knowing what to expect, and being told to tag along with the girlfriend – I was keen. Here’s my Taste of Cape Town 2013 experience, in pictures.
Metallica announced their second tour to South Africa last year, originally planning on playing in Cape Town at Cape Town Stadium. Big Concerts announced a few minutes ago that this venue will be changed to Bellville Velodrome, as well as allowing another night for Metallica to play.
So it was decided that we’d spend a nice, relaxed way of welcoming in 2013 with my parents in Camps Bay for a fantastic lunch. While we where braai’ing – suddenly it got more smoky than normal. Fire.
Who could ask for a better birthday present? Pick n Pay and Black Label have delivered some properly awesome brand goodness here.

So after hearing a lot of really good reviews, a few mates and myself headed out to El Burro for a night of Mexican feasting. This place is really awesome, I’ll happily recommend anyone go there. The atmosphere is awesome, the food is great and the service is top notch.
