Metallica Cape Town venue change

James

Metallica announced their second tour to South Africa last year, originally planning on playing in Cape Town at Cape Town Stadium.

Big Concerts announced a few minutes ago that this venue will be changed to Bellville Velodrome, as well as allowing another night for Metallica to play.

Awesomely, people who have already bought tickets need to change them. Gotta love these guys organisational skills.

The Cape Town venue for Metallica has changed. Metallica will now perform two nights at the Bellville Velodrome on the 24th and 25th of April 2013 to allow fans a chance of watching Metallica in a dynamic indoor live music setting.

The Johannesburg performance date and venue will not be affected.

As a consequence of this new development, fans that have already purchased tickets to the Cape Town stadium concert will have to exchange their tickets as follows:

  1. All Golden Circle Standing- and Seated ticket holders that purchased their tickets from Computicket for the Cape Town stadium performance must present and exchange their tickets at any Computicket outlet for a new ticket to either one of the performances at the Bellville Velodrome on the 24th or 25th April 2013.
  2. General Admission Standing ticket holders for the Cape Town stadium that purchased their tickets from Computicket are valid for the 24th April 2013 performance at the Bellville Velodrome, and no exchange is required.
  3. All ticket holders that purchased their tickets from Big Concerts through bigconcerts.co.za will receive an email with specific instructions on how to exchange their tickets.
