I’ve always loved my food, just haven’t really attended the real “foodie” type events such as these.
Without knowing what to expect, and being told to tag along with the girlfriend – I was keen.
Here’s my Taste of Cape Town 2013 experience, in pictures.
What a fantastic event. Well organised, phenomenal food and great beer! Camera in hand, we headed out to all the stalls to see what we could find.
Wow… what to eat and drink first and last? I could probably spend the whole day there.
My highlight of the day, the Scotch Egg from The Brasserie which included a mouth watering smoked paprika aioli, served very creatively on an egg box.
The second, The Craft Beer Project tent. After trying a few, I settled on buying myself a glass of Van Hunks Pumpkin Ale. Fantastic!
Here are the rest of the dishes and experiences from the Taste of Cape Town 2013.
